ABOUT KYSHAWN
Kyshawn Robinson has made a name for himself as one of the top recruits in the City League. In his first two seasons, he has won two City League titles and has played in two consecutive state title games. Robinson has 39 Division I offers as he basically can choose whatever school he wants to. While he still has to make a decision in the near future, his priority is trying to help Westinghouse win their first state title in school history. According to 247 Sports, Robinson, last season, recorded 24 receptions for 404 yards and scored four touchdowns. His uncle is former Point Park and Carlow basketball player and CEO of Camp Nitty Training LLC.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
You have won two City League Championships and played in two State Championship games. How would you describe your first two years of high school football?
I would describe it as exciting and a blessing.
From your observation, what do you think your team needs to do to get over the hump and win that state championship that you missed the previous two seasons?
Everyone being on the same page would get us a state championship. That’s the only thing that was missing in previous years.
There is no question that your team is the team to beat in the City League, what do you think is the reason your team has been so dominant over the past couple of years?

Going into your junior year, you have 39 Division offers, primarily from Power 5 schools. How has the recruiting process been for you?
It’s been amazing. I give all the glory to God!
Is there a certain time period that you want to commit, or do you think it would happen more spontaneously?
Either going into senior year or during the middle of my junior year.
Ok, so how did you get into football?
I started off playing football outside with older kids. I love physicality.
As you become an upperclassman, what are some things that you are trying to improve on when it comes to playing football?
My speed and field IQ
A lot of people I talk to tell me how much of an impact Head Coach Donta Green has had on the Westinghouse program. So, tell me what type of an impact has Coach Green had on you and your team?
Personally, he has helped me with a lot of real-life obstacles & everybody he has coached has come out to be a better man than they were when they came in.
I got to know, who is the best player that you have gone up against in your high school career?
Daniel "Boy Boy" Cain (USO) or #24 from the Southern Columbia (University of Maryland football player Braeden Wisloski) team during my freshman year.
Which team that isn't on your 2024 schedule do you wish you could play against?
Any 4-6A WPIAL football team, so we can prove that we are a top team no matter the classification.
